Yearly Camps & Activities

The Great Outdoors

Who: 3rd graders and up (children younger are welcome if accompanied by an adult)

When: Thursdays in June & July

Time: 5pm (times are approximate)

Cost: $15

Description: Participants join us in experiencing the great outdoors through a series of evening field trips. Typical activities include fishing, horseback riding, archery, and a tour of the Botanical Gardens and Butterfly House. Activities vary from year to year.

 

Soccer Camp

Who: Boys & girls entering 1st through 8th grades

When: One week during June

Time:

        Grades 1-4 (9:30am-noon)

        Grades 5-8 (1-3:30pm)

Cost: $25 per child (includes a t-shirt) 

Description: Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer in a fun environment through drills, competitions, and team activities. No prior experience is necessary.

 

Volleyball Camp

Who: Girls entering 1st through 8th grade

When: One week during June

Time:

        Grades 1-4 (9am-noon)

        Grades 5-8 (1-4pm)

Cost: $42 per child (includes a t-shirt) 

Description: Participants will learn the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun environment through drills, competitions, and games. No prior experience is necessary.

 

Music & Movement Class

Who: Kids entering grades K-2nd

When: Four Mondays in June and July

Time: 1:15-2:15pm

Cost: $20 per child

Description: Bring your energy as we explore music through various movements and activities involving rhythm sticks, scarves, parachutes, streamers, and other instruments.

Sports Crusader Basketball Camp

Who: Boys & girls entering 1st through 8th grade

When: One week during July

Time:

        Grades 1-4 (9am-noon)

        Grades 5-8 (1-4pm)

Cost: $42 per child (includes a t-shirt) 

Description: The camp consists of

        Stretching

        Skill time: brekadown the fundamentals of

              the skill of the day

        Half-Time: time set aside to instruct the kids on

              improving as an athlete

       Skills Enhancement: drills that implement the skill

              of the day

       Games

 

Cheerleading Camp

Who: Girls entering 1st through 8th grade

When: One week during July

Time:

        Grades 1-8 (9am-noon)

Cost: $25 per child (includes a t-shirt) 

Description: Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun environment through drills, cheers, and routines.

 

Amazing Art Fun 

Who: Kids entering grades K-2

Teacher: Diane Schmidt

When: Four Mondays in June & July

Time:

        Session 1 (Noon- 1pm)

        Session 2 (2:30-3:30pm)

Cost: $35 per child (Materials included) 

Description: Bring your creativity and imagination and join us this summer for some art fun! Students will be using a variety of materials and mediums. In addition, they will be encouraged to explore and experiment for a fun and educational art experience!
